Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem

Our teacher thanked and praised Allaah Subhaanahu wa ta’Aalaa and sent salaat and salaam on the Rasuul and his family his companions and all who followed them exactly to the Last Day.

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER >>>

Some people neglect these first classes and say,  “I’ll wait until you start explaining how to put the words together.”  –  this is very wrong.  If you do not understand the introductions, what’s coming will only get harder and harder.  So if you have this wrong belief/understanding –  that you will skip the beginning and start when we jump into actually applying those principles –  you are wrong.  What you should focus on the most when you begin seeking knowledge – especially this knowledge –  are two things:  the definitions and the principles.  This is because you cannot judge upon something or pass a ruling on something unless you know what it is. You cannot make a judgement on something until after you know what it is and how do you know what it is?  By the definition.  For example:  If you have a sentence and in this sentence you want to identify who is the doer of the action and who is the receiver of the action, you would first have to identify where is the verb and secondly where is the noun.  In order for you to do so you have to know what a verb is in Arabic – because it is not the same and there is a certain, specific, accurate definition for the verb –  to identify a verb.  And after you identify a verb, only then can you identify the doer of that verb ….

… The point is –  This is the most important part of  all your future studies: the introduction.  It is the most important part of any science that you study.  Focus on the defintions and principles ….Once you master them, everything else will become very easy and you will see.
