All the praises are to Allaah, we praise Him, seek His Aid and ask His Forgiveness. May the peace and blessings and salawaat be upon His slave and Messenger Muhammad – Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam, his house of kin and companions and all who follow them exactly until the Day of Judgement.

SCREEN SHOTS:  (Kindly note that there were some technical glitches with the WIZIQ broadcast/recording so not all whiteboards are included and may be lacking some information that the teacher wrote down)

I could do with some help please. I don’t have an Arabic font so i will have to write it in English.
The Arabic word for the one who hits alot (dharrab). I’m not sure what to do with the third type, in this case the alif do I omit it from the scale i.e ignore it, or bring it down? I know when its at the end or the beginning of the word we do, but what about the middle. I’m assuming you would bring it down as it i to the scale so the you would have fa33al is this correct which is fa ayn ayn alif laam.
Sorry if i have confused you I’m confused myself.
    JazaakhAllahu khayr for any help

yes ukhtee you are correct whatever is extra in the word will be added to the scale whether it is in the beginning, middle or the end. so ضّرَاب will be on the scale of فّعَال
