Conjugation of  قَالَ  in the Maadhee

When ‘aynul kalimah is a yaa

أَفعِلُ                                                         أَقِيلُ

1st : We bring the hamzah (letter of the mudaari’), and give it a fathah أَ

2nd : We bring faa-ul kalimah, which is the qaaf and silence it أَفْ – أَقْ

3rd : We bring ‘aynul kalimah, which is the yaa (originally) and give it a kasrah  أَفْعِ – أَقْيِ

4th : We bring laamul kalimah and give it a dhammah أَفْعِلُ – أَقْيِلُ

Now we have a heavy harakah on a heavy letter just like in يَقْوُلُ– so we do the same and give the kasrah on the yaa to the vacant qaaf before it  يَقِيلُ

  • Do the same with the rest except with نُونُ الإنَاثَة

The rest of the conjugation is as Homework

The Second type of Verbs to which Chapter two is considered a Qiyaas:

When the laam is a Yaa, with the condition that the ‘ayn isn’t one of the following six letters, which are called حُرُوفُ الحَلق  (Hurooful halq)- Throat letters ح – خ – ع – غ – هـ – ء

  • In Chapter one it is when the laam is a waaw and here it is when the laam is a yaa (with a condition)
  • Throat letters, meaning: The letters which are pronounced from the throat
