Review >>>

  • فَعِلَ has to possibilities it is either combined with يَفعَلُ and that is considered a Qiyaas, because the rule says that the harakah of the ‘ayn of the Maadhee should be different then the harakah of the ‘ayn in the Mudaari’.  The second possibility which wit hit is combined is considered شُذُوذ (oddity) meaning شَاذّ (odd), because it doesn’t go according to the rule
  • يُعتَبَرُ شَاذٌّ / شُذُوذ (yu’tabaru shaadh/shudhoodh – It is cosidered odd/ oddity)
  • The verbs on the scale of فَعِلَ which could be used with يَفعِلُ are 33 – And saying ‘it could be’ doesn’t mean it can’t be used in other than يَفعِلُ
  • Out of those 33 there are 13 which can be used in multiple usage – so on top that you can use them with يَفعِلُ you can also use them with يَفعَلُ – And here we say it has two ways  وَجهَان

Notes >>>

حَسِبَ – يَحسَبُ / يَحسِبُ

Allaah سبحانه وتعالى  said:

 أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ

Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested. [29:4]

 أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُم بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ

Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel? (Yes We do) and Our Messengers (appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record. [43:80]

  • Here you can see that حَسِبَ came with يَحسَبُ in the Quraan- And the best way is to use it with يَحسَبُ since this combination is according to the Asl (rule, it is how it should be)
